Start with your device, not the reviews
Half the recommendations online are useless because they ignore the platform. TiviMate is excellent and completely irrelevant if you own a Samsung, because it cannot be installed on one. Work out what your device can run first:
| Player | Android TV / Firestick | Samsung / LG | Apple TV | Phone |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| IPTV Smarters Pro | Yes | No | No | Yes |
| TiviMate | Yes | No | No | Android only |
| XCIPTV | Yes | No | No | Yes |
| Smart IPTV | Limited | Yes | No | No |
| IBO Player | Limited | Yes | No | No |
IPTV Smarters Pro — the all-rounder
The one to pick if you want live channels, movies and series in a single app without thinking about it. It runs on Android TV, Firestick, phones and tablets, its layout is familiar, and it handles on-demand content better than the players built purely for live TV.
Best for: most people, most devices. Weakness: the live channel grid is not as slick as TiviMate's.
TiviMate — the best live TV experience
If you mostly watch live channels and sport, this is the one enthusiasts settle on. The channel grid is fast, the EPG is the best on any platform, favourites and groups are properly implemented, and every part of it is designed for a remote rather than adapted to one.
Best for: Android TV and Firestick users who live in the guide. Weakness: Android only, and on-demand content is an afterthought.
Smart IPTV and IBO Player — the Smart TV options
These two matter because they run where the Android players cannot: directly on Samsung Tizen and LG webOS televisions. Both are deliberately lightweight, which suits the modest hardware inside a television.
Both typically activate against your television's MAC address rather than an account, and some versions charge a small one-off fee to the app developer, separate from your subscription. Best for: Samsung and LG owners who do not want an extra box.
XCIPTV — for very large channel lists
Less famous than the other two Android options, but it stays responsive with very long channel lists where other players start to feel heavy. Worth trying if you find your player sluggish when scrolling. Best for: Android devices, heavy browsers of channel lists.

Frequently asked questions
What is the best IPTV player?
There is no single best one. IPTV Smarters Pro is the best all-rounder across Android TV, Firestick and phones. TiviMate gives the best live TV and EPG experience on Android. On Samsung and LG televisions, Smart IPTV and IBO Player are the practical choices.
Do I need a specific IPTV app for my subscription?
No. Any app that accepts an M3U link or an Xtream Codes login will work. Choose whichever suits your device and tell us which one you picked so the setup steps match it.
Are IPTV players free?
Some are free, some charge a small one-off fee to the developer, and some offer a paid tier with extra features. Any such fee goes to the app developer and is separate from your ManisIPTV subscription.
Can I use the same subscription in more than one player?
Your plan covers one device streaming at a time. You can enter the details in different players, but only one stream can run simultaneously. If you need two at once, message us for a quote.
